Custom Glass Products produces a wide variety of laminated glass product, from balustrades to glass flooring and spandrels, but it always brightens up our day when we roll out something fancy. Just lately it has been a series of subtly coloured panels to be installed in a Retirement Home here in Western Australia.

While the panels were of a uniform colour and un-patterned, the delicate pastel tints are sure to have an uplifting effect. The colour in this case was achieved not by using an already coloured glass, but by the lamination of hi-tech, Vanceva coloured PVB interlayers between the glass sheets. There is a wide palette of colours to choose from and the effect is very pleasing to the eye.

Shown below, as they came out of our oven, is the first of the series – Aqua Marine and Evening Shadow panels.
