Switch Glass – Australia’s Prominent Switchable Glass Brand

Two sheets of glass (normally 5mm or 6mm annealed glass) are laminated over the Privacy film. The components are assembled under high pressure and temperature to form a single switchable privacy glass unit. When electricity is applied to the film via the wiring, the liquid crystals line up and the window is clear. When the power is turned off, the liquid crystals return to their normal scattering positions and turn the glass from clear to opaque.
